Dieter Kaboth has been the Co-Host of Hunting Adventures along with Michael Cooley (Founder of the Sportsman Channel). He was also seen for several years with Hunter’s Specialties “The Legends” TV Show on the Outdoor Channel & Sportsman Channels. Dieter has been a Voting Member of the Professional Outdoor Media Association (POMA.) and has been deeply involved in elk hunting, calling, and the call development industry since 1985. He currently serves on several Pro Staff Teams representing sport and outdoor companies. His primary focus is to help promote his favorite sponsors and hunting products. Dieter is currently working heavily with one of the most decorated call companies in the outdoor industry today, Rocky Mountain Hunting Calls. In the past two decades, Dieter has won four- Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) World Elk Calling Championships (Professional Division) – Winning these prestigious events has afforded Dieter the opportunity to do what he likes best and get the word out about the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. The mission of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is to help insure the future of elk, other wildlife and their habitat. Since winning his first title, Dieter has logged more than 500 radio and television interviews from all over the world; including England, New Zealand, Australia, Guam, and Canada. Dieter has made many television appearances on behalf of RMEF and is proud to be serving as a media representative for this organization. Dieter has also had personal interviews on ESPN, TNN, Sportsman Channel, Outdoor Channel and the Outdoor Life Network. Dieter is a former Regional Director and life member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Dieter also likes to donate his time and monies helping children with disabilities and cancer with organizations such as the Outdoor Dream Foundation and Hunt of a Lifetime. Dieter’s philosophy is “It is what we give and leave behind rather than what we take, our kids are our future and it is up to all of us to help grow and pass-onto our kids to help carry on the traditions of hunting.” He has served as past president of Chinook Archers (Camas, Washington) and is currently on staff with several different sporting goods manufacturers. Dieter is the former owner of an archery pro shop in Oregon and has enjoyed writing for several hunting publications over his long hunting career. Although his primary interest and passion lies in hunting elk, he gets just as much enjoyment by bugling in big bulls for others, particularly those new to the challenge of elk hunting. During the course of his hunting life, Dieter has successfully harvested a wide variety of big game animals, such as elk, whitetails, blacktails, mule deer, caribou, black bear, predators, hogs and moose. He hunts smaller, yet equally challenging trophies, like Merriam’s and Rio Grande subspecies of wild turkey, and waterfowl. |
