I have been bow hunting for the past 15 years and it is definitely one of my biggest passions. I have been fortunate enough to have had success in the past 4 seasons that has turned that passion into the current obsession it is now. I began hunting and fishing at an early age with my father and brothers. I have learned everything I know from them and my own personal experience. I grew up in a small town in NW South Dakota and moved to Montana in 2006. I started hunting a vast variety of animals and since moving to MT I have become more focused in on pursuing turkey, mule deer, elk, and antelope. I have been able to fine tune my calling skills over the past few years and consistently continue to do so. I was fortunate enough to draw a limited rifle tag in SE MT in 2008 and went on my first elk hunt and have been hooked ever since. There is nothing like calling in an animal and being successful enough to bring them in close. Turkey and elk are two of my favorites to hunt as you get the opportunity to talk back and forth with them and really learn how to communicate. I called in my first elk in 2009 for a friend and he made a fantastic shot at 17 yards. I look forward to getting to work with RMHC in the future and teaching others the art of calling game. When I’m not spending my time hunting I enjoy being with with my wife and our son Lane.
